Iterative concepts leading to a final mermaid design. Beginning humanoid, I found more interesting inspiration from various fish, marine mammals, and kelp. Particularly the ore fish and scuba/bell spider.

The concept of the sunflower satry was inspired by horse anatomy and coloring along with goat and pangolin aspects. Essentially, I wanted to created a satyr using the traditional design in a more naturalistic and refracted way.
